Teri Coulter Wiebe

Teri Jean Coulter passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. Teri valiantly fought a battle with lymphoma and was inspirational in her fight to all who knew her.

Teri was the daughter of James Russell Coulter and Rosemary Margaret Coulter. Born on December 28, 1942, in Denver Colorado, she was number three of the five kids, Jack, Peggy, Teri, Bill and Missy. Her brother Bill and Teri were eleven months apart and were referred to as the twins while growing up. Her parents moved to Milwaukee, Wisc in 1949 and to San Francisco in the summer of 1950. Teri attended Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, Calif from 1958 to 1961.
Teri married in 1964 and was the mother of three sons Michael, Bill and John. They lived in Petaluma, Roseville, Citrus Heights and ultimately settling in Auburn where they built a life. Teri was a busy mother, raising three boys and working in banking and offices.

What Teri loved to do the most was to go camping and take long walks through out the parks. She was always coming up with new ways of doing things to make it more fun and exciting. Her free spirit and zest for life has made her passing very hard for those that knew and loved her. She never met someone she didn't like. She treated people the way she wanted to be treated with openness and kindness. She met her husband John and was married for 30 years. They spent many years traveling the country in the fifth wheel meeting new people, fishing, and having countless adventures.

Teri is survived by her husband John Wiebe and her sons Michael Maddox (Brandi) and John Maddox (Sarah). She was a stepmother to Kathy Daugherty (Mike), Kristine Beem (Todd) and Karen Randall (Ian). She was a loving grandma to a beautifully blended family including 12 grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Teri is preceded in death by her parents Jim and Rosemary Coulter, sister Peggy Marron and her son Bill Maddox.

Teri was appreciative to all the doctors and nurses at Kaiser who provided such wonderful care and kindness. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in her name.  Services will be held November 4th at 1 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Auburn, 710 Auburn Ravine Road.
