In Memory

Douglas Clark

Douglas Clark

Good morning Antone.  Just wanted to let you know that I heard one of our classmates, Doug Clark, died yesterday (February 2, 2011) after a very short bout with cancer.  I haven't seen Doug in over 15 years but kept in touch with his ex-wife Joyce Dufficy.  Doug served with the Army in Korea after graduation, went to College of Marin and then had a career with AT&T in San Rafael.  He took an early retirement and moved to Prescott AZ with his second wife Randy.  He has twin daughters, Melissa and Stephane who reside with their families in American Canyon and Petaluma.  Perhaps you can post this on the website so our classmates can offer their prayers for Doug and his family.

I remember Douglas from St. Raphael's very well.  I am so sad to read of his passing.  Prayers and thoughts go out to Douglas's children and family.  God Bless him.

Hi Antone

I was very sorry to read about Doug Clark's passing. I did not know him, but I was good friends with Joyce, Stephanie and Melissa. I went to Melissa's wedding in 1995. If you can contact them, please pass on my prayers. Thanks, Tom

Doug and I were friends at St. Raphael's.  Once, I was invited by his family to a weekend at Clear Lake, where they taught me how to water ski, first on a surf board tied behind their boat, then on doubles.  I will always be in debt to the Clark family for helping me fall in love with the sport.

While we drifted apart at Marin Catholic, I always liked Doug.  I'm sorry he passed so soon before our reunion.

Rest in peace.

Dave
