Carol Lagomarsino Boyd

December 13, 1943- December 21, 2013

Our dear Carol left us suddenly and unexpectedly after a short illness. She
is survived by her husband, David; her children Dean (Lisa) Greisen, Tawni
Greisen, and Jim Ures; her stepson Arlen (Ashley) Boyd; her grandchildren
Chris, Michael, and Daniel Greisen, Jennie Hall, Ben Delzeit, Makaela and
Jake Ures, and Zoe Boyd; her brother and sister Ollie (Judy) Lagomarsino and
Peggy Lagomarsino.

Carol was born in Ross Hospital, the first child of Jack and Phyllis
Lagomarsino. She grew up in San Rafael, and attended St Raphael's and Marin
Catholic High school.  She spent most of her working life with the US Postal
Service but she would readily agree that her most important work and
greatest achievements were her 3 lovely children. She possessed an
indomitable and passionate spirit, a quick and inquisitive mind, a generous
and fiercely loyal heart, a love of adventure and fun, and a superb sense of
humor.  Carol leaves behind the evidence of the only true wealth in this
life: the family and many friends who loved her and who will sorely miss
her.  Her family will observe a private service and there will be a
celebration of her life in the New Year.

Farewell, Voyager. You're in the arms of the angels now.

Saddened to read about Carol's passing.  We were friends in grade school/high school and regret that we never kept in contact.  God Bless Carol, her husband and her family.  RIP.

I was saddened to hear about the loss of Carol. I remember her as a lovely, graceful woman who had an open heart and a wonderful generosity of spirit.  I know she will be missed. My symapthies go out to her family and friends.

With much love,

Joan

In the 8th grade at St. Raphael's, Carol kept me from making one of the biggest mistakes I ever would have made in my life -- entering the seminary.  One dance with her completely decimated my "vocation".

Thanks, M'Lady. Hope you died with a smile on your lips. Just thinkin' of that-there one dance keeps a smile on mine.

Very saddened to hear of Carol's passing.  I remember her as a lovely young girl in grade school.  She was my first "date" when we went to the movies at the Rafael theater in the sixth grade.  Not much of a date really, just two friends attending the same movie together.  She will be missed at our next gathering.  Rest in peace my dear friend.

Your first(?) love,

Bob

I am sad to learn of Carol's death - my memory of her is that of a delightful classmate with a great smile. May she rest in peace. She and her family are in my prayers.
